Accessibility statement for Leicestershire Weight Management

This accessibility statement applies to the website for Leicestershire Weight Management and the 12 week online weight management service.

This website is run by Leicestershire County Council Public Health Department. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

Preparation of this accessibility statement 

This statement was prepared on 1 March 2023. It was last reviewed on 1 March 2023.

This website was last tested on 1 February 2023. The test was carried out by Cuttlefish.

During Cuttlefish's testing the website has been put through WAVE and Google Lighthouse. Colour contrasts have been checked using the WebAIM contrast checker tool. Manual testing has been performed to ensure that the website is "tabbable" for keyboard users. Voiceover for macOS was used to test for screenreaders. Voice control for macOS was used to test for speech recognition software users
