For the last 14 years, I have enjoyed working in public health across tobacco control, and now with weight management and nutrition.
I have worked with a diverse population, so I can appreciate only too well how lifestyle habits affect health, but on the positive side I have also witnessed how using the services that we provide can be the best thing that people do for their health and wellbeing.

Senior Public Health Nutritionist
I have always been dedicated in working to improve the health of people.
For over 10 years, I have been a Public Health Nutritionist with the NHS. During this time, I have worked across Children’s and Adult Weight Management, to support families and individuals to make positive changes to their eating habits.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience to provide benefit to people. It is humbling and greatly rewarding to be a part of someone’s journey to improving their health. Sensible weight loss can take time, but the results are well worth the effort.
Following the completion of my degree in Nutrition, Diet and Lifestyle, I have been dedicated to using evidence-based knowledge to help people in the community make positive and long-term changes to their lifestyle.
I have previously practised in the NHS with adults and children to provide nutritional support in a variety of settings.
As a Public Health Nutritionist I take great pride in supporting individuals and families with their goals and ambitions for their health and wellbeing, and aim to understand their personal challenges and barriers to provide them with a more successful, tailored service.

Being a registered Dietitian, and having recently completed a Masters in Sport and Exercise Nutrition, I have experience working with individuals with diverse backgrounds and requirements and have a passion for nutrition.
I believe that we need to move further away from this ‘diet’ culture, and more towards what nutritious and balanced eating looks like for each individual, without excluding the foods we love.

It has always been a huge passion of mine to help, support and empower people. Helping participants to reach their full potential by discovering and rediscovering their knowledge, skills, and confidence is what I find enjoyable; both professionally and personally.
With a therapeutic and counselling background, and experience in social care, reablement, group facilitation and person-centred advocacy, I support people to self-identify existing issues. I encourage proactive prevention and support personal choice and taking positive steps to improve lives.
Working alongside my amazing team, I coach and motivate people through multiple sessions, and support individuals to reconnect with themselves, identify needs, set goals, and help them to implement a personalised lifestyle plan.

I support the team by carrying out the day to day administration tasks which help the team deliver our important service efficiently and to the highest standard.
I am one of your first points of contact within the Weight Management team for anyone who is wanting to access the service and what it has to offer.
By providing an efficient and helpful service, my role is to contribute to your success by supporting the team in an administrative capacity to help you achieve your goals.
