Men’s Weight Management Service

Men’s Weight Management helps men to regain control of their health through getting fitter and losing weight. It also helps you to develop the confidence to make healthier decisions with long-term benefits.

In partnership with Active Leicestershire, Men’s Weight Management is a free, 12-week programme. The programme is delivered locally in group sessions focused on healthy eating, meal preparation and planning, and physical activity.

A specialist Health and Wellbeing Coach, Sports Trainers and Nutritionists have developed the programme. With them, you will discover what works best for you and your body. This includes how to maintain lasting weight loss and fitness, and feel empowered by it.

You will be provided with the skills, knowledge and support that you need to improve your relationship with food, exercise, and your body.

The programme:

The service specially for men combines information sharing, open discussions, and physical activity delivered in interactive group sessions. As a result, one week you will learn how to cook a new meal, and the next you’ll be celebrating a win out on the games court.

Regaining control of your weight and adopting healthy habits can provide you with more energy to enjoy the things you love in life. It can also improve your mood and wellbeing.
