The Weight Management Team provide a service to the residents of Leicestershire. This website provides information to benefit those residents and give more information on how to access the Weight Management programmes.

This site additionally hosts the 12 week digital programme that is accessible after a successful referral to the service.

When we deliver services and information through our website we want to make sure these are useful, reliable and easy to use. To make this happen, it sometimes involves placing small amounts of information on your device, for example, your computer or mobile phone. These include small files known as cookies. This information is to tell you about why we need your information and how we will handle it. This section of information is only for clients undertaking the 12 week digital programme.

By registering on this programme, you are giving your consent for us to collect and use your data in the following way.

When you have created a log in for the 12 week digital programme, we collect your name, email address and weight.

If you upload images to the photos section of the programme, these are private and are not visible to other users of the 12 week programme.

We will share your data with our website administrators.

For clients that register on the 12 week digital programme, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information. We hold this information for 24 weeks. Your information will be held on the website whilst you are registered (24 weeks). After this point your data will be deleted from the website platform.

If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you during the 24 week period. Our lawful basis of processing is your consent and you are entitled to withdraw this at any time.
